Use AI in your search, and know what job sites and employers allow.
AI resume builders and other tools can draft a resume, suggest openings, and fill in applications. You remain responsible for what they send in your name, so check every claim a tool writes about you. Use a tool to save time on drafting and searching, not to send applications you have not read.
Read a job site's terms before you let an auto-apply tool submit applications for you. Some sites restrict automated applications, and breaking their rules can cost you the account you search with.
Many employers also use software to sort and rank applications, and some states and cities regulate how they use it. Where those rules apply, you may have a right to be told when software helps decide on your application.
