Inventory Control Clerk - Warehouse

The Inventory Control Clerk performs complex stockroom or warehouse work related to inventory control. Work involves compiling and tabulating data related to warehousing and inventory control, checking documents for accuracy, and maintaining files. Prepares and reviews reports, records and various forms; modifies inventory records as directed. Assembles, organizes and tabulates data; performs data entry, retrieval, and data searches. Issues, Scraps, and Reverse Issues/Scraps inventory items. May inspect merchandise for quality and compliance with specifications. The incumbent works under direct supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
