What are the job responsibilities? Job responsibilities include the interpretation of defined benefit requirements and the development of business rules to allow the automation of the accured benefit and allowable payment options. Duties also include: *evaluating plan changes as they relate to automated rules,
*working with Operations and IS for new client implementations/projects
* working with relationship management to explain how the pension calculator is accepting/outputting data as it may relate to annual valuations
* researching/resolving reported operational issues
Who is our ideal candidate? The ideal candidate has 8+ years experience with comprehending detailed defined benefit plans, ability to design/develop and test rules and rule flows using the IBM JRules product. Experience in building of complex macros in Excel to mimic benefit accrual computations is also a plus. Candidate must have strong communications (verbal and written) skills to allow concise explaination and ability to work multiple projects/deliverables. Candidate must be a self starter, ability to identify and raise riks/issues as well as assist in mentoring less experienced staff.
