The candidate will under close supervision, prepare food; train and supervise resident kitchen crews in accordance with directions from Food Service Supervisor, supervise loading area and comply with sanitation and health requirements as it relates to meal preparation.
Typical duties include:
. Prepare food
. Clean kitchen
. Help maintain proper inventory
. Work with resident kitchen crew
The right candidate will have:
. 6 month cooking experience, preferably in institutional setting
. Familiar with principles of institutional cooking, portioning and sampling of foods, food storage and stock rotation procedures and typical health requirements and standards for kitchen cleanliness
. Successful completion of criminal background check, driver's license check, and drug screening
