Job Description :
We are looking for a talented, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Quality Process Engineer at our Conyers GA location. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is responsible to lead quality and process improvement initiatives in order to maximize customer satisfaction and meet site cost reduction and optimization objectives.
* Partner with Procurement/ Packaging to assure quality of received goods to prevent adverse effect on our products.
* Analyze production line layouts and process flow, coordinate improvement activities and ensure product quality including in-process testing procedures. Present recommended changes and execute. Work with plant team to implement/modify SOPs for Operators to reduce process variability. Measure baseline capability of equipment and optimized process
* Project Management -- Lead assigned projects from conception to implementation.
* Process Improvement -- implement and sustain improvements, perform root cause analysis, utilize statistical methods.
* Support new product launch through development of CTQs and utilizing the qualification process to ensure success.
* Develop and Maintain Control Plans to assure product quality
* Address customer/ consumer issues through the corrective action process.
* Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
* BS-Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical preferred
* ISO Auditor Training
* 3-5 years in a manufacturing setting performing significant quality analysis
* Six Sigma Training/Certification
* Consumer Products experience
