As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Senior Analyst, Supply Chain role at our headquarters in Miami, FL.
OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for providing inventory/supply analysis, metrics, reports, and planning support.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Proactively support management in developing and deploying consistent supply chain strategies and processes across all sites
* Analyze and provide recommendations on demand and supply data to maximize customer fill rate, increase positive cash flow, minimize excess inventory, and lower product costs
* Provide clear analysis with information at the macro and/or micro level necessary for buyers and managers to execute effectively
* Utilize data provided by others within the organization to create metrics and reports for visibility and accountability of supply chain and procurement actions
* Report on root cases when issues occur
* Monitor and report on supply chain trends and conditions
* Train buyers and expeditors on reports and planning tools.
* Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain or related field
* Minimum of six (6) years experience working in an analytical role within a Supply Chain environment
* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Ability to prepare analytical reports
* Intermediate skills in MS Office (i. e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
* Strong communication (oral and written) skills
* Ability to build relationships (internal/external) and interact effectively with other departments
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA:
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
* Demonstrated attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task
* Minimum of two (2) years experience within the aerospace industry
* Working knowledge of distribution processes
* Extensive experience in supply planning at the SKU level
