Job description This position will be responsible for a Higher Education territory that will cover a select set of accounts in the state of Michigan.

Duties:
. The ideal candidate will possess a quantifiable record of success in Higher Education or Technology sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
. Will have a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements and must understand complex sales cycles, build consensus throughout multiple levels of organizations, and be adept at developing relationships at executive levels.
. Create innovative and effective solutions to deal with primary and secondary business problems, and promote and sell a complete Apple solution of products and services to HiEd Departments and authorized Apple Campus Stores.
. The ability to prospect and manage territory, as well as develop new business in competitive situations, is essential.
. This position requires the ability to provide a forecast of the business and project the results in a consistent and knowledgeable fashion on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications:
Requires a seasoned sales professional with experience selling at Senior/Executive level. Candidate must have excellent verbal as well as written communication skills and the ability to articulate Apple Education Products strategy as well as Apple Value proposition.

Additionally, must be highly motivated and organized, able to travel (50% plus), reside in the territory, attention to detail, work independently, and possess strong analytical/problem solving skills.

BS/BA degree required and a minimum of 4 to 10 years of direct outside sales experience in technology based products. Must have demonstrable record over quota achievement from new Business Development. Must possess excellent skill-sets in the following areas: time/territory management, prospecting, and verbal/written communication. Must be adept at utilizing and maintaining account management and sales forecasting tools.
