Description Responsibilities:
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for meeting with prospective residents and serve as the prospect's first impression of MAC's emphasis on service and be able to offer ideas and suggestions for appropriate marketing/prospect plans and have the ability to carry out and implement those plans. Show apartments and community to prospective resident using good salesmanship to encourage prospects to become a part of the community. Conduct move in inspections and see that residents' concerns are addressed. Handle and accurately complete all paperwork associated with leasing activities. Maintain files of leasing paperwork and input leasing data into computers accurately and in a timely fashion. Verify employment, resident history, credit history on prospective residents. Work as a team with other employees on the property.
Requirements Requirements:
High School Diploma or G. E. D. equivalent and Valid Driver's License may be required. Previous leasing and or sales experience preferred. Good communication skills and general working knowledge of computers and computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel). Basic office skills such as faxing, typing, filing, and good organization. Readable penmanship required. Valid Driver's License May Be Required.
