Leviton Network Solutionshas an exciting opening for aGovernment Business Development Manager – Central Region (San Antonio, TX).
This position is responsible for:
n Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of a government sales strategy and business development program encompassing allNetwork Solutionsproduct offerings of Leviton for the region.
n Manages the ongoing activities of a Regional Government Program to provide program organization, training, and guidance to the field sales force in pursuit of sales to government contractors and end-users.
n Acts as a principal advisor to the National Director of Government Programs for Leviton on all matters regarding government sales for the region.
n Provides advice and guidance to manufacturing operations regarding product requirements for government sales in the region.
n Supports the Regional District Sales Managers and Rep Firms with developing government business within the region.
Skills and Abilities:
n Excellentwritten and oralcommunication skills are a must.
n Ability to multi-task and establish organizational priorities.
n Ability to interact effectively at all levels of Leviton Manufacturing as well as with contractorsandmilitary personnel.
n This position requires approximately 50% to 75% travel.
Experience/Education:
n Bachelor ’ sDegree preferred.
n 10 Years military experience working in IT/Telecommunications.
n Musthave a Department of Defense (DOD) ID card as military retiree, active reservist or retired civilian DOD employee.
n Must have a minimum of8years ’ experience working directlyfor orwith the Federal government.
n Must have a minimum of 3 years ’ experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
n Prefer to have a minimum of 2 years of direct field sales experience.
n BICSI RCDD Designation preferred.
