Job description
IBM's Systems and Technology group has an opening in the Microelectronics Division's Business Operations team. Tasks could include assisting business and technical involvement with revenue and profit plan and performance analysis; development and management of business processes including quality assurance, business controls and procedures; customer satisfaction deployment and ratings; and tactical and strategic plan administration as well as various project management assignments. Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis are required. Having the ability to identify business and industry trends in operation performance trends and technology will be a plus. Candidates will gain experience looking at large parts of the business, analyze data and making suggest recommendation to solve complex problems and identify more efficient ways to do business.

Basic requirements include a strong background in one or more of the following technical areas: Business and Finance, industrial engineering, statistical analysis, and proficient use of spreadsheet and presentation software packages. In addition, the ability to work in a team based environment and strong communication skills are critical.
