Job description
The Service Operations (SO) consultant is expected to provide guidance for design alternatives, communicate with functional and technical project teams, and is responsible for the delivery of SCM process and technical projects focused on Service Operations. The consultant understands SCM business challenges & translates them into requirements / solutions. The consultant will surface, document and resolve issues on a timely basis. It is essential that the consultant have a deep understanding of Service operations. The individual will provide hands-on leadership, direction and mentoring of junior team members, and manage customer relationships.

Required

* High School Diploma/GED
* At least 3 years experience in service operations improvement in one or more of the following: service planning, depot and field service repairs, value added service delivery, parts fulfillment, logistics
* At least 2 years experience in improving service operations management operational metrics
* At least 2 years experience in team leadership
* At least 1 year experience in management consulting
* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
* English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 5 years experience in service operations improvement in one or more of the following: service planning, depot and field service repairs, value added service delivery, parts fulfillment, logistics
* At least 5 years experience in improving service operations management operational metrics
* At least 5 years experience in team leadership
* At least 4 years experience in management consulting
* At least 5 years experience in one of the following industries: Electronics, Chemical and Petroleum, Industrial Products and/or Aerospace.
* At least 5 years experience in business case development
* At least 5 years experience in hands on development of project deliverables
* At least 5 years experience in requirements definition, mapping and gap analysis
* English : Fluent
