Job Description
The position of Student Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the processes for admissions, testing, advising, financial assistance, and registration services offered at the Waldorf Center for Higher Education. Additionally, this position is responsible for the planning and coordination of all recruitment and student life events that take place at the center. This individual works closely with appropriate staff from College of Southern Maryland and University of Maryland University College to stay current on student services procedures and to ensure their implementation amongst front line staff. Candidate must demonstrate a history of contributions to quality improvement as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently in a customer service environment.
The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a. m. - 4:30 p. m. Flexibility is required due to occasional evening and weekend hours.

Required Skills
* Bachelors degree required
* Experience in a multitasked, high-level administrative support position in higher education or similar education setting
* High level of proficiency in computer-related applications such as integrated data systems, spreadsheet applications, and word processing
* Must have the ability to train adult learners, supervise, organize and prioritize extensive workload
* Must have front line experience in a customer oriented environment.
* Must be able to interact positively to a range of constituents within the institution including deans, chairs, faculty, other college staff, and students as well as a very diverse group of community members including the Board of Education, county government, local business leaders, and local civic and community organization leaders.
* Experience with admission applications and/or and student registrations preferred.
