Description

NC MENTOR is currently seeking an individual who is a Qualified Mental Health Professional per North Carolina state requirements to assume oversight of assigned caseload for children placed in therapeutic foster care (TFC).

Key Responsibilities:

Assess referred consumers and develops and coordinators service plans

Provide oversight for assigned caseload (TFC)

Complete weekly home visits

Manage, scheduled, and provide service intervention to meet authorizations and monitor foster parents provision of TFC services

Request authorization and re-authorization

Maintain current and complete consumer reporting records

Maintain current and complete records and reports in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards

Provide pre-service and in-service training to foster parents, as assigned

Participate in rotational emergency on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis response services

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Human Services field required (Masters degree with full or provisional licensure preferred)Two-year post graduate degree experience with population servedMust meet qualifications as Qualified Mental Health Professional for childrenPrefer candidates with prior experience working with aggressive and oppositional children/teensOther education and experience plus licensure as required by stateMust be willing to travel within a 1 hour radius of the Raleigh area
