Description: Entry level position responsible for the design, building, and support of hospital applications utilizing any of these skills: VB. NET / ASP. NET / PHP Language / HTML, SQL Server - TSQL Language - MySQL, Visual Studio 2008/2010 - Team Foundation Server, Sharepoint 2003/2007/2010 Experience a plus. Healthcare experience with McKesson Horizon and Allscripts EMR is a plus. Oracle 10g/11 experience a plus. End to end ownership - application platform through programming code.
This position shall interact with the end customer to analyze project requirements. This analyst position will provide system support, resolution of application problems, recommending system changes and data mining. Incumbent uses own judgment and initiative in solving problems and performing technical tasks of a low degree of complexity. Incumbent will in general spend a great deal of time advising superior on problems, will work close with clients.
You will be responsible for promoting a teamwork environment both internally and externally and providing high quality service to our customers, with emphasis on patient care. Will participate in user group meetings. Will be expected to maintain skills through participation in education programs, periodicals, workshops and conferences. Will perform any other duties requested by the supervisor or department manager.
Qualifications: Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent two (2) years of progressive information systems management experiences. Strong analytical and problem solving experience required. Must have the ability to communicate in an effective manner, including written as-well-as verbal, and interact with different levels of management, with IT personnel, and departmental clients. Must be able to learn new environments and keep up with development in the field. Working knowledge of Windows from an administrative and users perspective required. Demonstrated Web Development skills, experience and training, preferably in a hospital setting.

Must posses knowledge of computer programming languages and associated tool sets required. Knowledge of hospital information systems environment and office automation applications. Experience with computer architectures, troubleshooting and problem determination and solution skill sets required. Must be able to handle pressure situations. Must be able to learn new environments and keep up with development in the field. Working knowledge of Windows from an administrative and users perspective required. Must be able to handle pressure situations. Demonstrated Web Development skills, experience and training, preferably in a hospital setting.
