About this Opportunity

Regency Centers is seeking adynamicTenant Account Specialistto join our Jacksonville, FLcorporate office. This incumbent will report to the AR/Collections Lead and will be responsible for performing the daily collections activities and communicating with tenants regarding the collection of payments.

Key Responsibilities

* Pursue tenants directly and support Property Managers in following up with tenants related to collections.
* Work with tenants and Property Managers to develop payment plans.
* Work with 3rd party collection agencies during the collection process.
* Initiate dispute resolution process by ensuring that all tenant disputes are logged; work with the appropriate resources to resolve the issues and escalate, when required.
* Research tenants to understand their credit status and communicate with appropriate parties to keep them updated.
* Work with Property Managers to identify bad debt requirements.
* Set up notes and perform write-offs in the system.
* Perform all necessary reporting related to AR Aging, collections, notes and write-offs.
* Support report requests by Property Controller, Portfolio Accounting Manager and Property Manager.

Qualifications

* Bachelor ’ s degree coupled with three to five years of prior collections experience is required.
* Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel.
* Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and JD Edwards.
* Intermediate level proficiency with Spreadsheet Server, GL Inquiry and ITS preferred.

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
