Job Description :
* Preparation of federal, state and local tax returns for The Babcock & Wilcox Company and its subsidiaries
* Preparation of federal, state and local quarterly estimated tax payments
* Perform research to support and document federal and state compliance, tax planning, special projects and federal and state tax audits
* Prepare work papers and documentation supporting the quarterly and annual provision calculation
* Prepare responses to internal and external requests for tax information
* Gather and organize information requested by taxing authorities and other governmental agencies
* Assist in maintaining tax software systems, primarily CorpTax
Job Requirements :
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* CPA preferred
* 3-7 years experience in federal and state corporate income tax
* Knowledge of Hyperion, SAP, Excel, and CorpTax preferred
