As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Mentor Oregon you’ll be one of those special people.

Mentor Oregon is seeking a full time Floating Direct Support Professional/Caregiver for several of our Portland sites to provide assistance to adults in a community-based setting. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support. This position will work variable shifts as needed for different sites, but will be a full time position plus benefits.
$10.00/Hour
QualificationsRequirements:High school diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of ageValid driver’s license in good standingCar registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving servicesOne year of experience in human services, preferably at different/multiple sites.Successful clearance of local and/or state background checksBe flexible and available for different shifts as needed
