Alcon currently has an opening for a Chemical Planner in Johns Creek, Georgia.

The Chemical Planner manages the Silicone Hydrogel Double Sided Molding chemical supply chain for Johns Creek Manufacturing and Johor Malaysia Manufacturing to ensure sufficient supplies of specialty chemicals at macromer suppliers, internally and at suppliers.

Major Accountabilities include:

Manage chemical raw material orders and ensure timely deliveries.

Track shipments against purchase orders and ensuring sufficient safety stock.

Provide transparency into chemical raw materials released/on hold/rejected and coordinate related transactions with procurement and formulations.

Control sourcing and shipment of macromer with specific focus on maintaining operational stocks.

Coordinate monthly billing cycle for both Johor and Atlanta

BS in related field / APICS

Minimum Experience Required.
3-5 years in production planning/supply chain management
