Work Conditions: Job Description: Required Skills: The SAP BW Specialist should possess technical expertise and a functional understanding of their relevant area able to manage, support and design solutions that meet business requirements. Experience developing new requirements, developing technical documentation and specifications and supporting business questions on the data/reports. Also support rest of the BW COE with maintenance (together with basis), monitoring of the BW system, and resolving complex technical errors in the system. The successful candidate will participate in and facilitate project meetings, interviews and working sessions to develop detailed BW technical specifications. Other responsibilities include: evaluating Functional Specifications to provide project time and resource estimates; following established technology standards and processes, identifying areas of improvement within SAP BW where possible; providing governance to ensure standards are maintained by any BW development; ensuring regulatory compliance in application development process (COBIT, SOX, or other); and controlling the transfer of the new developments into production.

Skills Preferred: BW data modeling, BW BEx development, BW process chain maintenance and development, BW ETL development, understanding existing BW landscape and solution to support business with questions.

Experience Required: 3+ years of recent IT experience in the use and development using SAP BW; experience in SAP Business Objects is a plus; SAP BW Certification is a plus; competency in strategic thinking with strong abilities in relationship management; high competency in project management and the execution of multiple large projects.

Education: Bachelor's degree
