The Role: Accounting Associate
With the growth of Junk my Car, LLC, it is important to ensure that all functionality within the Finance department is running efficiently. As a department, Finance needs to concentrate on tasks which align our overall goal ? " customer service. The impact of payments to customers and vendors, and the recording of cash receipts in a timely manner are crucial to ensure ? ~awesome? T customer service is provided.
This position will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for timely and accurate payments to our customers, consultants, vendors, etc. You will also be accountable for following up on payment discrepancies with other departments, and contacting customers and vendors to resolve payment issues. Included in your daily responsibilities will be the recording of receivables and data entry into our accounting system.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping Junk my Car in excellent financial standing!
- Monitoring cash disbursement accounts, and transferring funds accordingly.
- Data entry of all Trade Payable invoices.
- Billing/Receivables, and contacting towing companies through dunning process.
- Working with our outside CPA firm on accounting inquiries.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years AP/AR and general accounting experience.
- Knowledge of billing procedures.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and spreadsheets is a plus.
- Billing and collections experience is strongly recommended.
- If all of your household bills are in an up-to-date ledger, we want you!
Compensation/Benefits:
- Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm CST
