Due to substantial organic growth, Morrison Healthcare Food Services (MHFS), an operating division of Morrison Management Specialists is seeking candidates for its Manager in Training (MIT) Program.

MITs will attend Morrison orientation and participate in an experiential training program, at an operating unit, lasting from 4-10 weeks designed specifically for them. You will learn our award winning patient dining programs, retail/caf programs, nutrition and wellness programs and our culinary/food philosophy.

After training, you will be available for permanent assignment commensurate with your experience and specific training. You may also assist with new openings and or temporary assignments prior to your permanent assignment and must be willing to travel at company expense. This is a "bench strength" position and MITs must be available for travel and open to relocation after training.

Qualifications:

- MUST be able to relocate
- MUST be available for extended overnight travel
- B. S. Degree RHM, Culinary or related field; or A. A. Degree plus four (4) years of directly related experience preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian desirable
- Four (4) plus years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control required
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels
- Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
- Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet
- ServSafe Certified
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (State and Federal) and a drug
- screen
