Job Description
Responsible for expressing the voice and vision of the College of Fine Arts, overseeing the Colleges messaging, branding and identity and determining how they are applied across an appropriate mix of media including print, web and other electronic and digital communications. Develop and implement strategic integrated communication plans intended to raise the visibility of Boston Universitys College of Fine Arts and the Dean, and promote their reputation to prospective and current students, alumni, external influencers, supporters of the arts and other key constituents. Provide leadership across all aspects of the Colleges marketing efforts to monitor and secure the Colleges positioning in the arts marketplace as a leading national and international center for advanced training in music, theatre and visual arts and to support the Colleges effective engagement with key constituent groups such as local and national performance venues, publications and advertisers. Measure the impact of these integrated initiatives and refine them as needed to cost effectively manage marketing budgets and resources while advancing the Colleges reputation.
Required Skills
Requires: B. A. /B. S. , strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle multiple projects at once and more than eight years of experience, preferably in the arts or higher education.
