Job Description PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:
The IS Systems Analyst architects, specifies, designs, develops, documents, tests and delivers business systems, architectures and IS process solutions to meet business systems or IS process needs.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

1. Charts business or IS processes by partnering with process owners and using appropriate methods and tools.
2. Re-engineers business or IS processes by partnering with process owners and using appropriate methods and tools.
3. Defines business systems or IS process requirements by using appropriate tools and partnering with systems or process owners to understand requirements.
4. Designs solution prototypes and proof of concepts, business systems, IS processes by using system or process requirements and appropriate methods and tools.
5. Develops enterprise or systems architectures, computer-based systems, IS Processes by using appropriate methods, development environments and tools.
6. Modifies enterprise or systems architectures, computer-based systems, IS processes by using appropriate methods, development environments and tools.
7. Documents enterprise or systems architectures, computer-based systems, IS processes by using standard methods, formats, and tools to create project or process documentation.
8. Guides implementation of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations; and by providing coaching and mentoring to IS management and staff. (Senior, Principal)
9. Assures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, test plans and quality plans; and by working with quality assurance analysts to improve IS quality processes.
10. Resolves issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.
11. May manage systems development or process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.
12. Researches new technologies and development techniques by leveraging industry contacts, seminars, books and hands-on experience. (Senior, Principal)

Skills/Experience Requirements Wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures. Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Has a sound knowledge of various technical alternatives and their impact.

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors degree (Computer field related) preferred.
. 5-8 years experience with Hyperion Planning including System11. x in the areas of design, deployment, and database administration.
. 3-5 years experience with other Hyperion products (Web Analysis, Smartview for Office, Excel Add-In, Financial Reports)
. 4- 6 years experience in building dimensions using Load Rules File, Load data using Rules files, two pass calculations, defining UDA's, specifying dimensions like Account dimension, Time dimension, Attribute Dimension as per the requirements.
. Excellent in writing calculation scripts, MAXL Scripts, and business rules.
. Database query experience (e. g. SQL, Oracle SQLplus). Windows scripting experience. Experience with Hyperion Enterprise and SAP preferred
. 1-2 years experience in designing and deploying OLAP solutions.
Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree plus 6+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced Degree preferred.
