Blackbaud has an excellent career opportunity within our Finance division! We are currently seeking a Jr. Accountant to work in our Charleston, SC Headquarters. We are looking for a self-motivated person who has strong accounting skills and is looking for growth potential! Responsibilities:
* Research revenue streams to verify revenue recognition procedures are being followed
* Documenting findings trough revenue reviews and revenue recognition policies and procedures.
* Staying current with changes in accounting pronouncements and flagging those that impact revenue recognition
* Assist with documentation, summaries and presentations for revenue reviews
* Assist with training co-workers on changes to revenue recognition procedures
* Assist with month-end closing procedures, preparation of audit requests and reconciliations
* Working with auditors on revenue tests
Required Experience:

Requirements:
* 4 year Accounting degree with 3. 5 GPA or higher
* CPA Candidate
* Strong Excel Skills
