Title: Medical Research Intern
Location: United States-California-Santa Clara County-Sunnyvale

The
intern will work as part of the Medical Research group focused on Simulation
and Surgeon Training. The internship will involve the exploration of new
technologies to accelerate the learning process of new da Vinci surgeons. The
intern will be responsible for prototyping new technologies, conducting tests
to evaluate their prototypes, and analyzing the resulting data as a part of an
overall report. The intern will work closely with researchers, engineers, and
surgeons.
Qualifications:
* M. S. or Ph. D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering, Computer
Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar, with a focus on robotics
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Excellent
problem solving abilities in a fast paced, exciting work environment
* Must
be concurrently enrolled in a college degreed program in order to qualify for
an internship
