Sr. Manager Enterprise Intelligence for Commercial lines of business provides leadership and insight derived from multiple sources that inform fact-based strategies/plans and provoke innovation to drive growth and financial performance. the focus will be comprehensive on National and smaller accounts, JVs and local. Is an internal planner consultant to marketing and business, leveraging assets and collaborating to drive strategic decisions and planning, not just report research findings. The role requires market research and experience championing the voice of the customer and proactive communication of important influences (such as STEEP, competitive conditions) and potential impact to the business.
Engage marketers and business leaders to understand strategic, tactical plans and priorities. Consistently develop compelling insights into action, supplement project recommendations with professional point of view informed by experience; have conviction about recos and lead dialog with business stakeholders. Independently manage development, project management, design, execution (DIY and full-service) and socialization of primary market research. Consult with other Aetna internal clients and business stakeholders. Identify/manage required resources for initiatives; leverage existing research before starting new research. Apply knowledge of primary/secondary research methods for increasingly challenging questions.
* 10+ years client-side custom market research, mgmt consulting, ad/creative/innovation agency, or acct mgmt research supplier.
* Including 5+ years on group health insurance or other group financial service produce.
* Facility with Qualtrics, Medallia, SAS/R.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.
