**Senior Solutions Design Engineer**

The solutions design groups primary focus is presales. Presales engineers are solutions experts on the entire Situation Intelligence Solutions portfolio of products. The solutions design group presales engineer will ensure that the Customer experience is positive and efficient and a competitive differentiator. The Pre-Sales Engineer partners with Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturers Representatives and our top integrators. This position is responsible for providing technical sales support to members of SIS Sales team who work with integrators and end-users interested in purchasing or enhancing our networked IP video solutions.
**Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:**
Establish and build relationships with consultants, end users and partners by serving as the technical liaison for presales to post-sales, with the goal of being the trusted technology advisor and long term business planning partner.
Follow industry technology trends through self-study, formal training and share the knowledge with Verint internal colleagues and appropriate external audiences.
Facilitate customer discovery discussions to understand and document business requirements and design requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions.
Completion of the SDG bid qualification tools, Go / No-Go and change control processes inputs.
Document and validate customer requirements and submit input to change control process.
Completion of the solutions design document SDD for detailed requirements of new integrations.
Presales to post sales handoff with supporting documentation and onsite meeting support.
Team with sales and our partners in road shows for demonstrations to end users and consultants.
Trade show planning, communication, setup, demonstrations, teardown, lessons learned reports.
Deliver sales solution training to our inside and outside sales colleagues on our solutions portfolio.
Provide RFP / specification review and technical response and assist with sales proposal and quote reviews for technical accuracy
Conduct remote and onsite technology demonstration webinars with partners to end users and consultants.
Implement proof of concept and pilot programs for general availability software builds.
Document internal and external product enhancement VOC and share with our PMG partners.
Provide product managers competitive intelligence information for strategic planning purposes.
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or IT or equivalent work experience
4-6 years of experience in a technical presales capacity for enterprise solutions design and deployment.
5+ years of experience interfacing with engineering product management and sales organizations.
Exceptional individual management skills, organization skills, technical skills and customer facing skills.
Demonstrated success and performance in a matrix team environment.
Excellent written/oral communication skills.
Works well under pressure with strong technical aptitude.
Travel Approximately 50-75%
Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification
Knowledge of MS technologies including MS OS, MS SQL, MS tools, VMware, virtualization and storage technology.
Management of large geographically dispersed partners and end user customer base.
Educational and work experiences most desired: Enterprise Software solutions, CCTV.
Technical experience and competency in enterprise software and system solutions.
