TRC is seeking a **Senior Project Manager/Business Development Lead** in our Cleveland, Ohio office for our remediation practice within the Ohio and Midwest region. The successful candidate **must** be a seller-doer with proven client relationships and client management skills.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Identify and develop new business opportunities, and delivery of responsive, high quality environmental/consulting services to the environmental sector (e. g. , air, water, waste water, storm water, and remediation).

+ Budget, scope and schedule development, monitoring and adherence for tasks and projects managed.

+ Work with project managers on strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings and helping to maintain strong relationships with key planning leaders within Ohio and the Midwest.

+ Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed as well as projects and tasks managed by others. Responsible for implementation of firm quality procedures at project and task levels.

+ Preparation of technical documents and reports.

+ Pinpoint and market new clients within the Ohio and Midwest area.

+ Maintain and grow existing client accounts.

+ Mentor other environmental staff.

+ Review RFQs and prepare proposals.

**Background** **:**

+ Client Service Manager/Project Manager with consulting/engineering firm that has project experience in air, water, waste water, storm water, remediation, etc. Experience and relationships with private-sector and municipal clients is preferred.

+ Project management, staff management, office budget control, corporate initiatives, mentoring and resource management, engineering, design and construction within municipal industry type firm.

+ Strong communications skills both written and oral.

+ Ability to interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.

+ Demonstrated experience to create budgets and maintain them on both the project level and corporate level.

+ Project experience private and public sector utility, transportation, petrochemical, and pharmaceuticals.

**Requirements:**

+ Strong communications skills both written and oral. Must be driven to lead project teams and market new clients. Must interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.

+ E. or P. G. in any state with ability to gain licensure in other states

+ Client relationships in the Ohio and Midwest markets

+ B. S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering and/or Environmental Sciences

+ Ten (10) years of experience

+ Air, soil, ground water, water, wastewater experience with a consulting/engineering firm.

+ 40 hour HAZWOPER certification
