FACULTY JOB DESCRIPTION:
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
As part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, the neuropsychologist will provide services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings sharing these roles with another neuropsychologist on the team. As faculty the neuropsychologist will also assume teaching and research roles, which include didactic courses and mentoring in research for medical students and residents. Inpatient clinical responsibilities include neuropsychological evaluations, counseling services, and attendance at team rounds and conferences. Additional responsibilities include treatment planning, assessment, education and consultation services, as well as individual, family and group intervention for psychological support. In the outpatient clinic, the neuropsychologist will provide neuropsychological evaluations.
Requirements: Ph. D . or Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology, an APA approved internship, and two year postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology. New York State licensure is required. Interested candidates with other state licensure are encouraged to apply.
