The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is actively recruiting a highly motivated candidate for a full time position as a Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the rank of Assistant Professor. The section covers diagnostic imaging of bones, joints, soft tissues of the extremities and the spine and performs image-guided joint aspirations and injections, as well as image-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies.
Candidate must be able to obtain/possess/maintain a New York State medical license. Be fellowship trained and American Board Certified. A commitment to quality, clinical care, research and teaching for the departments residency and fellowship programs is imperative. Weekend call coverage is required.
Appointment rank and salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The URMC comprises a 750 bed teaching hospital with a long history of exceptional patient care as well as several satellite community hospitals. Centralized imaging interpretation also includes two free standing imaging centers. The Department of Imaging Sciences is comprised of over 75 faculty and 36 residents and 9 fellows. The section is staffed with excellent ancillary personnel.
