## Job Description
The Service Associate will prepare work areas for service, and also set up and clean equipment/facilities. Participate in general assignments including preparation of beverages, salads or desserts. Responsible for performing tasks relating to the appearance, safety and sanitation of food service facilities. Participate in special or catered events within the dining hall or elsewhere on campus.
May be assigned to various units within Food Services for training and/or operational reasons.
## Minimum Qualifications
Good communication and customer service skills required. Ability to comprehend and perform routine jobs and special needs with basic instruction. Must be able to qualify for sanitation certificate.
## Preferred Qualifications
Previous food service experience preferred. Janitorial experience helpful.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
