The Technician B will work closely with the PI in the Clynes Lab.

General lab duties will include ordering, maintaining inventory, organizing reagents, maintenance of incubators and liquid nitrogen tanks maintenance of log books. Preparation of buffers for the lab.

Experimental duties will include preparation of immune cells from blood (PBMCs) and flow cytometry of human blood. Obtaining immune cells from the lymph nodes, spleen and skin of mice. Tissue culture of primary cells for immune cell activation. Will work together with a team of scientists and will supervise an animal technician. Experience with immune cells from mouse and human. Experience with flow cytometry. Experience with handling of mice. Performs other related duties necessary to the functioning of the laboratory.

The Candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test and background check prior to a final offer of employment being made.

Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
