**Advertised Summary Job Description**

Under the supervision of the PI and the Clinical Research Coordinator, the Research Assistant will be involved in ongoing research protocols in the Division of Endocrinology. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, subject recruitment and telephone screening, creating and maintaining study patient charts and case report forms (both paper and electronic) and scheduling and carrying out study patient visits according to protocol. Draw and process blood samples, record vital signs, and perform EKGs. Will have contact with the IRB office and CUMC Joint Radiation Safety Committee. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications for Grade**

Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1. 5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.

The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.

Computer proficiency and strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Phlebotomy certification preferred.
