The Transplant Coordinator, under the direction of a physician, coordinates all phases of the transplant process. Provides education and support to the patient with end stage organ disease and their families in order to maximize the benefit of organ transplantation. The Transplant Coordinator also assists other personnel to ensure quality delivery of patient care and services to the end stage organ patient.
* Associate or BS degree.
* Two years of critical care experience or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
* Valid California Registered Nursing license, Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
* A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
