The candidate will be able to teach graduate level courses with content focused on approaches to community participation and leadership, introducing students to the theories behind participatory methods as well as to the skills to implement them, urban planning and social work: theory, values, techniques of inquiry, and problem-solving methods appropriate to urban planning and social work.
The successful candidate should possess an advanced degree in a related field (such as MPL, MRED, MARCH, MLARCH, MPA, MPP, MBA, PhD). Candidate must also have significant professional experience in planning or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations.
