The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Radiology are actively seeking a PhD in electrical engineering with specific training in medical image processing with a focus on MR imaging and post- processing. 3-5 years of post-PhD training in fetal and pediatric image acquisition, pre and post-processing. Designing and developing mathematical, computational and statistical methods to quantitatively analyze MRI images. Design and develop computational models to test various biological hypothesis pertaining to developmental neurobiology. A strong understanding of human anatomy particularly neuroanatomy, neuroscience, developmental disorders in children and fetuses. Proven ability of communicate and successfully design and develop large, multi-disciplinary projects. Proven ability to obtain external grant funding for research projects.
