## Posting Summary:
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, seeks applicants for a non-invasive tenure-ineligible Assistant, Associate or Professor Cardiologist to join its expanding Cardiology Division. The majority of clinical activity will be based at UVa Health System hospital located in Culpepper, Virginia and limited opportunity for clinical activity at University of Virginia Medical Center. Rank is dependent upon qualifications.
The incumbent will be responsible for supervising and interpreting non-invasive services such as stress testing, EKG and non-invasive monitoring, and imaging studies. The position will require inpatient and consultative work along with outpatient clinical cardiology. The opportunity exists to establish a community based-research program.
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by appointment start date.
