## Posting Summary:

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applications for one, or more, faculty positions in the Marketing Area, beginning August 2016. The appointment will be for a full-time, tenure-track position at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). To be considered applicants must have a Ph. D. in marketing (or a related field) or be ABD with anticipated completion by the position start date.

In addition to a PhD, successful candidates will demonstrate the ability (or promise) to publish in the field's top journals (e. g. Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science) as well as perform at a high level in the classroom. Specific teaching and research expectations are commensurate with rank sought.

Although the Marketing Area welcomes applicants of any specialty, candidates with a strong background in analytics, and who would be in a position to contribute to the School's rapidly growing analytics programs are particularly attractive.
