## Posting Summary:
The Department of Surgery is currently seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator, Non-Licensed. The incumbent is responsible for the development and coordination of clinical trials within the Department of Surgery. The incumbent works with the investigator, human subjects, IRB, University and the company and/or government sponsor to ensure smooth, accurate progress of clinical trials from the planning stage through trial completion and post-study closure. Duties include budget and grant preparation and support of financial accountability, coordination of subject recruitment and consent, coordination of the scheduling of study procedures and research visits, and collection of study data. In addition, the incumbent monitors subjects and provides quality assurance and regulatory maintenance for studies.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with one year clinical research experience. Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator is preferred. Must have knowledge of established clinical research regulations, keen sense of confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.
This position is restricted and contingent upon the continuation of granted funding.
