The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor of Medicine to join a team of experienced inflammatory bowel disease physicians and colorectal surgeons at the University of Virginia Medical Center. The incumbent will have a commitment to clinical care and scholarly activity. Expectations include management of IBD patients in clinic, perform routine endoscopic procedures, attend on the inpatient GI service, participate in ongoing clinical research, and assist with teaching of fellows and residents.
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree and must be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology by the appointment start date. The selected candidate must have a primary clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
