The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia and University of Virginia Health System is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-ineligible Assistant/Associate Professor to support Culpeper Regional Hospital.
The recent purchase of Culpeper Regional Hospital, a community hospital one hour north of Charlottesville, by the University of Virginia Health System, has provided a unique opportunity for a general otolaryngologist to practice in a growing and supportive community setting, primarily in a hospital that is undergoing a complete renovation of professional focus and facilities.
In addition to primary clinical responsibilities at Culpeper Regional Hospital, this faculty member will participate in two clinics per month at the University of Virginia Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery clinic in Charlottesville. During those times department subspecialists, i. e. rhinologist, otologist, will support the Culpeper office.
All candidates must have an MD and be board-certified or board-eligible and certified within two years of employment. Telecommunication between the two facilities will supplement full colleague and educational support between the two facilities. The newly renovated office will be furnished with appropriate equipment and supported by a certified audiologist.
