The Behavioral Science Research Division in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, seeks one or two postdoctoral fellows with strong interest and competency in some combination of the following areas: smoking cessation, oral health, mobile health, biostatistics, Motivational Interviewing, and health disparities including disability research. Statistical expertise and excellent writing skills are required. The fellow will be expected to conduct data analyses, author manuscripts, apply for grant funding, and assist with ongoing trials. The primary objective of this fellowship is to prepare the individual for a career in behavioral science or health promotion research. The fellow will receive mentorship in grant writing and publications and be afforded career development opportunities through Boston University. Applicants should possess a doctoral degree (or ABD) in psychology, epidemiology, or a related behavioral or social science, excellent communication and writing skills, as well as advanced training in research methodology and statistics.
