Create visual concepts for a range of platforms including print and web. Produce message-driven visual solutions for national and local station initiatives. Create innovative visual designs. Manage internal and external image inventory for logos, photos and creative files. Produce deliverables that include advertising, collateral, event graphics, digital banners and more.
B. A. /B. S. in Graphic Design. Experience in understanding and implementing brand standards. Fluent working knowledge and troubleshooting of the current Adobe Creative Suite of programs (Mac platform) with advanced proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Highly-developed design skills, including strong typographic skills, high level of craftsmanship, good color sense and competence in photo editing and cropping. Experience in creating interactive content for digital, web, and mobile platforms preferred. Experience in developing and editing HTML-based materials. Solid print production experience in writing specifications, bidding out projects and vendor dialogue. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while developing design files within tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills, and ability to properly and efficiently archive and retrieve complex projects. Ability to take direction, make changes, and staying focused under pressure while maintaining an upbeat and collaborative attitude. At least five years of relevant design experience.
