**Your Duties:**

A Project Executive exhibits all the qualities of a Project Director and embodies the personal, cultural and professional values of the firm. This individual understands what provides value to clients and motivates staff to excel in those areas. A Project Executive focuses his/her energy on the critical activities that will make a difference to clients and to the firm over the long term. He/she demonstrates a high degree of maturity and discretion and exercises sound professional judgment. The Project Executive is the primary client contact for Stantec. The Project Executive is responsible to manage the success of all assigned projects, as measured against the clients goals and objectives and Stantecs key performance indicators. The individual must have a strategic vision and tactical perspective, Profit/Loss responsibility, and responsible for developing new business.

REPORTS TO: Regional Director

SUPERVISES: Project Directors/Project Managers

**Project Attributes**

+ Directly managing activities of generally 50-100 project team members.

+ Project size range generally $50M-$500M both renovation and new/out of the ground.

+ Multi-project responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**

Project Schedule/Approach

+ Manage staff and clients and achieve excellent team overall performance on projects for client and company.

+ Maintain an efficient management standard in applicable business center.

+ Assure quality control of client relationships, process, culture, etc.

Staffing/Budgets

+ Maintain systems and protocols to assure quality control of Project Management product and process.

+ Review and approve proposals, fees, contracts, invoices, etc. to client.

+ Coordinate business activities and initiatives with other SCS business units/territories.

+ Provide and maintain a plan for staff management, including recruiting, training and mentorship.

Legal and Contractual

+ Provide guidance and counsel regarding claims and disputes.

+ Review contracts and other documents from a project management perspective.

+ Review insurance/risk management matters from a project management perspective.

Marketing, Networking and Recruiting

+ Develop maintain relationships within the industry and community.

+ Develop and maintain relationships with client, consultants and project team.

+ Expand professional network and develop good reputation in the marketplace.

+ Introduce prospective recruits to hiring manager, as needed.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials:**

+ Healthcare experience is required.

+ 15+ years experience managing projects for owner, designer or builder.

+ Degree in related field, such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Business, or equivalent degree.

+ Demonstrated leadership experience.

+ Professional Registration required.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

+ Strong organizational skills and problem solving abilities.

+ Strong interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple initiatives.

+ Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in all phases of projects.

+ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain client relationships.

+ Strong computer skills and literacy in scheduling, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software.
