We presently have multiple and immediate openings in various offices for Bridge Engineers with proven accomplishment in the design of various structure types. The selected candidates will be responsible for the design, analysis, and inspection of bridges as a Design Engineer. Projects that you may be involved with range from short to long span structures, and include:
+ Truss Bridge Rehabilitations
+ Post-tensioned segmental concrete bridges
+ Curved and straight welded steel box girder bridges
+ Curved and straight welded steel plate girder bridges
+ Simple and multi-span girder structures
+ Continuous steel truss structures
+ Prestressed concrete I-beam and box beam bridges
These positions offer growth potential to motivated individuals with strong communication skills seeking a leadership role. Candidates must have a B. S. in Civil Engineering (M. S. preferred), PE and 5 to 10 years of progressive engineering experience in the analysis, design, construction support, inspection, and rating of bridges. NBIS certification and experience is a plus. Bridge rehabilitation design experience is also a plus. Candidates must be familiar with applicable design standards and specifications. Experience must demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and the ability to organize and plan all phases of a project.
Experience with standard office software packages (word processors, spreadsheets, and databases), and general structural analysis and design software is required. Knowledge of FBPIER, RCPIER, DESCUS II, MDX, LUSAS, STAAD, MicroStation, etc. are plusses.
