Must have experience from preferably a boutique hotel / resort with a 4 to 5 Star rating. Must be well presented, articulate, polished, well-mannered, hospitable and soft spoken. Responsibilities include driving sales, ensuring outstanding guest service and associate satisfaction as well as bottom line results in a very entrepreneurial environment. Hotel Seward operates as a very busy hotel for the summer season which is for the months of June, July and August. The remaining 9 months are quieter, allowing a great level of Administration work to be completed. This is an excellent opportunity for & nbsp; a Manager that wants to learn and assist the General Manager who is a Hospitality veteran of 37 years. He has managed several luxury boutique hotels and resorts with 4-5 Star ratings, =. As Assistant General Manager/ Front Office Manager you will assist the General Manager and the Owners with the following: ( These are the main areas but not only limited to ) Increase Revenue Increase Profits Increase the Average Daily Rate ( ADR ) Increase Guest Satisfaction ratings Increase Employee Satisfaction scores Decrease Employee Turnover rate Improve cleanliness of the Hotel Improve Productivity and Efficiency of the Hotel Operations Improve to Superior Service levels Reduce Payroll Improve the image of the Hotel Improve and create Standard Operating Procedures Prepare Operational Reports for the General Manager and Owners Think out of the box and be creative and innovative with new plans and ideas Improve all operations of all the Departments: Rooms, F & amp; B, Housekeeping and Night Audit Enforce all Policies and Regulations Create new Policies Assist with Sales and Marketing efforts Prepare the Daily Flash Report Oversee Hotel operations to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests to enjoy and where associates can excel. Get out from behind the desk to observe guest experiences and staff interactions. When complications surface - and they will - make it right for the guest and open channels for associates. Build and Foster Front Office Staff. & nbsp; Create an environment that's engaging, where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance. Lead a diverse team by modeling the way, by empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle. Team up with The General Manager and The Owner. & nbsp; Brainstorm and implement occupancy and revenue boosting strategies. Keep a pulse on operational and financial performance . Actively participate in the budget process, and accurately forecast for optimal staff and supply levels, maximum flow-through, and exceptional guest experience. Act as Manager on Duty , when duty calls. Must be available at all times, especially weekends. Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the guest service department that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel. Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget. Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. & nbsp; Review the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate Through suggestive selling by associates. & nbsp; Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security. Recruit Hire, Train and Terminate staff based on Hotel Seward policies and procedures. & nbsp; & nbsp; Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
